The longer the the cooking time I have for something, the hotter the outside gets and stays until the long cool down happens. I have just cooked an EasyMac/Cheese cup for 3-minutes and now twenty-five minutes later, the left side with the out-vent has cooled fast, but the top & right side still stay at 85-90 F degrees even after keeping the door wide open. The stainless steel was a very bad idea. Yes, it looks nice but a bad idea.

The shelf isn't real deep and it's hard to find microwaves that will fit. This appliance is the smaller, less powerful version of a highly rated GE. The controls are convenient and it works well, it just takes longer to get some things cooked or defrosted. If it was 1000 or 1200 watts instead of 950 I'd give it 5 stars.

The microwave is good but I faced issues

I bought this item first in December 2019 when it was on sale. However after about 3 months I found that the inner coating is peeling off which could lead to a fire hazard. GE was good enough to provide me with a goodwill certificate to replace the item and I went ahead and bought the same item again. The new piece is working well so far although I lost $20 as it is no longer on sale.
