Items arrived quickly, but damaged. It bent on the top corners

Disappointed in GE. The thin film keypad cracked / tore on the numeral 1 key a couple of days after the return period expired. Have only used it twice daily so obviously the material is cheap. Also aggravated that there was a sticker on the panel that left adhesive behind when I peeled it off.

The brand name itself speaks about the quality. This microwave oven is one of the finest and cooks food very fast. Also, options provided are very great - Pizza, Potato, Popcorn, etc.

This microwave is hard to use! I don’t like it. The directions included do not match how to use it.

I am very disappointed with this microwave. I just purchased it today, and when I took it out of the box, the film over the keypad was already peeling on the edge where the door opens. In addition, there was a bright yellow sticker to be removed below the keys, and removing it left several holes in the film. This is clearly made with very cheap craftsmanship.

Looks terrible. Comes with a sticker thats basically attatched to it. Alcohol and friction only scratches it. The inside light is an ugly 90s light bulb orange tint. I payed the same as my last one but somehow downgraded.

Looks nice, arrived damaged though. When I close the door sounds like an empty metal box.

This is a good little microwave. It's great for smaller spaces. My previous microwave was 2.0 cu. ft. so I had some concerns about downsizing to a 1.1 cu. ft. microwave. Rest assured, it has been working fine and I've had no issues or concerns. It heats up my food well and is easy to clean. One thing though, the door closes loudly and sounds like you're slamming it shut even when you close it softly. I don't consider that an issue and can live with it. Let's hope the microwave lasts as long as my previous one, which lasted for over a decade, almost 2 decades!

Love my new microwave. It is the perfect size and has enough bells and whistles to be completely useful. We do not require space age, just the every day age! We surely got it. Easy to use, sleek and modern looking and very affordable. Perfect.

Normally I would shop in person and select a unit but the virus shelter in place order prevented that and since my previous microwave died suddenly I ordered this one online and used curbside pickup to get it. The service was great -- quick, efficient and polite. It's a great unit (right size, good price, good performance) except for the visibility of the numbers on the panel. I read reviews that said they were difficult to see and I thought: how bad could they be? Well, I found out. The numbers are so hard to see that I printed a photo of the numbers panel from the online description (the small paper user guide with the product had no illustrations) and taped it to the counter below the panel -- and I keep a small flashlight next to the unit. It's disappointing that GE would make a product with such an obvious user design flaw. This has detracted from the whole experience. When stores re-open and I'm able to shop normally, I plan to replace the unit solely for this reason.

Great microwave for rhe price. The features are user friendly,nice chrome trin, fits perfecr in the kitchen. Cooks & warms food thorough.

After our built-in Whirlpool microwave stopped working about a month ago, we opted for a countertop microwave that we could relocate to a different room later down the road until we repair or get a replacement for the one that broke. So far, we are pleased by the size and ease of use with GE microwave. We decided to get a GE brand because we have found all their products to be reliable. When we bought our home, the builders installed all Whirlpool products. In less than 2 years, the range hood and dishwasher broke. These were brand new appliances, which we ended up replacing with GE. Fast forward 5 years later and now the built-in microwave broke (which is part of a microwave/oven combo unit). This was to be expected since the KitchenAid appliances (also made by Whirlpool) eventually failed in our previous home. I know it's only been a month of ownership, but this countertop GE microwave has been working well for us so far. The capacity isn't quite as big as our built-in microwave; however, it's big enough to heat up almost everything we need. It seems slightly bigger than the microwaves you would find in a hotel room and the usability is practically the same. My only concern about this unit is the push button for opening the door. It seems like a part that could eventually fail over time unlike a door with a pull handle. It's not really a big deal to have a push button as it probably serves as a safety feature to keep little kids from reaching for a handle that they could easily break. Overall, we're very satisfied so far and hope that GE will live up to its reputation. All the GE products we've owned so far have been very reliable, so we're expecting this microwave to last a lot longer than the 7-year-old built-in unit that failed on us.

I bought this microwave to replace my 20-year-old Kenmore. It was hard to find a microwave. That was all stainless steel and had a lighter interior. It definitely doesn’t seem as well-made as my Kenmore; it feels more plastic was used. But in general, it had what I was looking for in terms of size and stainless steel exterior. I don’t use it that often so the noise level does not bother me. Just to note that in addition to the blue protective film around the exterior, there is an separate protective film over the entire control panel – I was reading a few other reviews where people were trying to peel only the yellow sticker. Wish I could have fixed my kenmore, but this will do! 

We've had this GE - 1.1 Cu.Ft. Mid-Sized, Stainless Steel Microwave for a little over a year now. We use it a few times a week, give or take and it is still going strong. The buttons are easy to use. It isn't very loud, compared to previous microwaves I've had. It's a little bigger than we need day to day for 1 to 2 people and the small amount it's used, but because of that, I think it may last longer. This would be great for a family of 4 or more, in my opinion. All in all, it does it's job well and I recommend this product.

Our built-in microwave quit right before the holidays and there was no time or money to call someone to come in and do the whole dance to get it going or replace it. We decided to find the least expensive counter-top model we could find to get us through. We depend on the Microwave, as my wife is severely disabled. Research and my Best Buy Card made this unit the obvious choice. It is larger than we had expected to be able to get for the price and the results when using it are always just amazing! The controls are a little funky and the labels a little hard to see in the light where we have it located, but the controls are like the new units now and we are just not used to them yet. In fact they are the only reason I did not rate it 5 stars.They do not provide a manual with the product but they have a website where it can be downloaded (free) and they will snail mail you a complete manual at no cost. It works great and we thought we would donate it or give it away after we replace the built in, but this unit is not going anywhere. We are in no hurry to replace the old one that died. Great buy for 79 bucks!

excellent microwave. Small but powerful, looks great and the performance to date has been excellent- uniform heating, ease of operation. Could not be happier with it, and only regret is not having purchased the GE product sooner, instead of the cheap knock-off I got a year ago that has already malfunctioned!)
