Though not as high a wattage as my last one, this zaps things just fine. It's a little noisy when closing the door, as there just is no way to close it quietly. It also tends to move on the counter top when you close the door. You may need to put some rubber footies under the legs and maybe the casters if you have it on a moveable cart.
