My only complaint so far is the speed to heat up something small like a cup of coffee etc, but that's what you get for this type of wattage.

Door flings open really fast and slams shut really loud but it's quiet in use and does the job I need it for. Looks good next to my stainless steel toaster oven and refrigerator.

Posted .We appreciate your feedback on the display panel and child resistant door operation. If you wish to disable the two-step latch, follow these steps: 1. Press and hold the “7” key for 3-5 seconds or until you hear a beep. Release. 2. Press the “9” key. Release. 3. Press the “0” key. Release. -- There will be two short beeps and the display will flash “UnLo” to confirm the default condition has been updated successfully. For more details, see page 10 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. Lauren@GEAppliances

However, after a week or so it started to work perfectly. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a mid-size microwave that doesn't take up too much counter space.

It actually makes the food hotter on the same setting as the larger did. VERY quiet. Only draw back is that the stainless steel on top should have a clear coat on it. It scratches VERY easily.

Even though it took a little while to get used to the lock feature I do like it!

If I don't do this & just punch in 2 minutes it says FOOD! It's a real pain in the butt! The keypad doesn't light up & it's hard to read. I wanted another one but the guy I was working with at the store wasn't there for a few days & the other guy said I had to purchase this because they special ordered it. I'm not a happy customer!!!!

I like it more than the expensive one we installed in the new kitchen. It's super quiet and cooks food quickly without making it rubbery.
