First, it is lower wattage that first model but works ok. My mistake on not finding that out before ordering. My issues are : The button you press to open door is very hard to push. You can barely read the numbers and programmable buttons unless daylight is fully streaming in. I don’t understand why they are so dark making it so difficult to read. It works ok. Nothing special.

Posted .Starting April 1st, all countertop microwave ovens come equipped with a Child Resistant Oven Door. The use of child-resistant oven door latches by all manufacturers of microwave ovens helps to reduce the likelihood of young children handling hot foods and beverages items. This safety feature can be disabled if not needed. 1. Press and hold the “7” key for 3-5 seconds or until you hear a beep. Release. 2. Press the “9” key. Release. 3. Press the “0” key. Release. There will be two shorts beeps and the display will flash "UnLo" to confirm the default condition has been updated successfully. -Vikki@GEAppliances
