    I purchased a house-brand Insignia microwave from Best Buy which broke after a month-- the open/shut button broke. I'm glad I upgraded to the GE. It appears better built and worth the slight price increase.

    I got this to replace another microwave of the same make and model that didn't survive a move. This is a good basic microwave and does what I need it to do. The only thing missing is sensor cook, but other than that, it does fine.
