It didn't even get especially heavy use since it was just me using it and I didn't use it daily.

It is also larger than I expected but fits nicely on the countertop. It holds a large capacity. Has all of the features needed and yet was priced very well, just under $100. Definitely would buy it again.

However, our Panasonic only lasted a little over 4 years before it just stopped working. So, we were looking at other options. When the clerk showed us the GE unit, we were still unsure about it. We asked her if she could plug it in to see if the interior light came on when the door was opened. Yes, it did. Our old one did not, so it was annoying when it came to cleaning. Still we were a little hesitant about going to 950 watts from 1250 watts. Took a chance, and we are very happy with this unit. We love the express cook buttons. We didn't have those before either. It''s been an adjustment on cooking times for us, but other than that, it's great. Also, this unit is SO quiet. We have never had a microwave as quiet as this one. Love, love it.

I have found all GE products to be dependable and long lasting. I highly recommend this Mid-Size microwave, especially for a couple or small family. It is easy to operate and does the job well!
