My old Microwave lasted way longer. It has trouble warming up food I have to put like 7 minutes or more. When it comes to liquids it always does something to my drinks making them explode and I don’t overheat it. Very bad… something that was not anticipated as I had hopes up. I don’t recommend.

One day aster using it and taking the heated up plate out it kept on turning on by itself. I finally had to unplug it and returned it the next day for another brand/model.

Also i called to be able to exchange it and said i couldn’t no more. Which was shocking because that shouldn’t be an issue if the appliance has a defect or something but in this case am stuck with it and i wouldn’t recommend.

This is the second GE product I bought that has severe design flaws. The opal ice maker I paid $400 is a useless piece of junk as well . I’ll never buy another product from GE again complete junk from day one!

Noisy & poor quality

After about 8 months the turn table started making a rattling & clucking noise occasionally. We are now at 10 months and it’s constant.

So when I bought this one, I figured it would, at the least, be as good as the old one. Unfortunately, it's not. Door doesn't open easily, timing for cooking is too complicated, just generally not a good product.

When pressing in areas off center and further from center, the door latch is more difficult to operate. This is normal operation for the microwave.
