Good size counter top with QC issues

Unboxing did not reveal any broken parts and the microwave heated a glass of water as it should but it made weird noise while working as if some loose metal parts were touching each other. Also, the outer cover was not flush giving me a scratched finger. Apparently, poor QC. Returned the item.

Within 3 weeks, the plastic covering the numbers have started to bubble up. Incredibly disappointed in this purchase and this machine. You get what you pay for, but I still expected more longevity than this.

I heat a cup of water every morning and I put it in the microwave the night before. Rather than just be able to touch the buttons to start it, I have to open and close it first. Frustrating!

Posted .We know your microwave not working as expected must be very concerning, and we want to assist. If the microwave isn’t coming on at all, you may want to check the fuse or circuit breaker for any issues. You can also try disconnecting the unit from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting; this resets the electrical components and can often assist with a temporary issue. Additional troubleshooting tips are available on page 14 of the manual, which you can view on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. If you’re not able to resolve the issue and think you may need to take advantage of the warranty, information on that is available on page 15 of the manual. -Sarah@GEAppliances
