    Stopped working

    We bought this microwave less than a year ago and have been happy with it until now, when it just stopped working. It turns on, but the power cuts out about 30 seconds into the cycle and it stops cooking. This may be something that is covered under the warranty, but unfortunately we have to have a service person come out to make that determination, and the cost for the service call is more than the microwave itself cost. We run the risk of the problem not being covered under warranty and then having to pay for the call. Therefore we will have to buy another microwave, and I doubt it will be a GE.

The power level can only be changed when using the Time Cook or Time Defrost functions. After selecting one of these, select your time, then press Power to select a level between 1 and 10.     Grinding sound from turntable.

    Just over a year old with not much use, now when the turntable spins, it makes a grinding noise. Checked everything inside, all seems good. when I put in turntable, it grinds making it useless.

    Lasted less than a month didn't want to bother taking it back in and exchanging it or anyting it was just awful but one somewhere else for about a quarter of the prices at 1 still have it 2 years later

    Thought GE would be a good quality brand, but guess not. Barely had this microwave a month and the turn table already quit working and Best Buy only offers a 2-week return period.

    Brokedown in just few days. Glass Turntable Plate / Tray started making noise and became misaligned within few days. Warranty Team needs 15 days just to figure it out what is exact problem.

    First microwave I purchase stopped working within a few days which was then replaced with a like item. 7 months later that microwave has also stopped working . I will not be purchasing anymore applicances with this brand .

    Too noisy and seems as though it is made with lesser quality materials. This is our 4th GE model microwave and what we had in the past was not available. This was the closest thing and I wish I had searched harder or chosen a different brand.

    The keypad display does not light up making you turn on overhead lights to use the oven, totally ridiculous, If it wasn't such a hassle I would have returned it already
