GE 1.1 cubic feet capacity is perfect for my needs—it fits large plates and bowls without taking up too much counter space. I also love the sensor reheat dinner plate, which automatically adjusts the cooking time for leftovers, making them taste fresh again.

Great little microwave! I don't love that you have to unlock it after each item you heat, but other than that it checks all the boxes.

This is the fourth time that I've had to buy a microwave. This one is by far the best. The beeps are not annoying. The blue light is not overwhelming. The key pad is easy to understand and to use. Heating is uniform and defrosting is easy peasy. Stop looking and reading reviews. Buy this microwave!

We actually like this microwave very much, it has done very well for us. Unfortunately, only a year and a half in, the paint on the inside is starting to crack and fall off. We keep it very clean and take great care of this appliance. That soecialized interior paint is necessary for keeping a microwave from turning into a fire hazard. I also have no idea why a brand-name microwave would have this kind of problem in the first place. Unfortunately, the manufacturer will only send a rebate for buying another microwave and the geek squad warranty means that Best Buy has to mail it back into the manufacturer for a review which means a person would be without a microwave for quite a while. No great options.

The GE 1.1 cubic foot 950 Watt is a welcome addition to my kitchen. The price on sale was favorable and the unit arrived without issues. This replaced a 15 year old product that still worked but the door function just froze up. This unit has the same door mechanism and I hope it will last as long as my old Avanti model. The unit is working as it should for my uses; boiling water, reheating leftovers and steaming frozen vegetables. I very much like the safety feature of not heating until you have "Food" inside. This unit is larger than my previous one and I'm learning the new necessary heating times. I agree with others that the control pad needs to be easier to read. My one negative is the microwave has one leg shorter than the other three causing it to rock up and down. I deducted a star for this annoyance. I put a placemat underneath solving the issue. While there unit looks solid it is a bit rickety, but I don't think it'll fall apart on me. It's very good for me and my lite usage. Not sure if it will last for heavy duty use. I'm happy with my purchase.
