In searching for the same one, because it is so great, Best Buy had it in stock and at the lowest price. This GE - 1.1 Cu. Ft. Microwave (Model:JES1145DLWW) is easy to use, powerful for it's size and doesn't take up a lot of counter space. I would definitely recommend.

My old Microwave lasted way longer. It has trouble warming up food I have to put like 7 minutes or more. When it comes to liquids it always does something to my drinks making them explode and I don’t overheat it. Very bad… something that was not anticipated as I had hopes up. I don’t recommend.

I swear you would think buy now in 2021 tech would offer a decent solution however this is cheaply executed product, i missed the return deadline so Im stuck with it.

There is a performance test you can run to determine if the microwave is heating properly. Please follow the below steps to test the performance of your microwave:--
1) Place a glass bowl (preferably a 2qt. glass measuring bowl) with 1qt. of water in the center of the microwave cavity. The water must be 59-75 degrees Fahrenheit (15-24 degrees Celsius).--
2) Heat the water for exactly 2 minutes 30 seconds on High (this is the default setting). --
3) A temperature rise in the range of 28-40 degrees Fahrenheit (15-22 degrees Celsius) indicates that the oven is cooking properly. -- If you determine the microwave is not heating as it should please call GE service at 1-800-432-2737 to discuss your options under the one year warranty. But it is noisy, leaves a lot of smoke inside the unit after a minute or two of cooking, and is generally something i would not buy again. Also, the buttons are so dark against the black background that i struggle to punch the right one. And you have to open the micro door to close it and add another minute to cook. Buy another brand/model.

They go out of their way to talk around the fact that all the buttons are just preset my time and that it does not have a sensor to self adjust cooking time or temp/power. Popcorn always under cooked or burnt because as I said before, NO SENSOR. IF ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS SET THE TIME AND GO IT DOES THE MINIMUM JOB BUT IF YOU WANT A SMART UNIT WITH PRESET AUTO COOK OR AUTO DEFROST THAT ACTUALLY ADJUST IT ITSELF BASED ON A SENSOR, FORGET ABOUT IT.
