    Not happy with this microwave

    Buttons are hard to push. Instructions on how to use different functions are unclear. I still can’t figure out to to use some functions or why key pad is laid out the way it is.

    Bought it 36 days ago, making grind noise

    Bought this GE microwave and it worked fine until this morning. The website says we have 15 days to return. We are at 36 days and very unhappy at this point. Odd noises that just started, sounds like it is grinding and vibrating inside. My wife doesn't want to go near it.

    Stopped working

    It worked fine for 2 years but stopped powering on one day. Since it is out of manufacture’s warranty, have no choice but to replace it. I would recommend not going for this one and going for a better quality one instead.

    Door is loose

    Picked it up in the store, and brought it home. The door is loose, we are afraid to use it. Take it back, and look at the display model, door is fine on the display model. Get a second identical model and bring it home, door is loose on it as well. Taking it back. Our first applicance purchase at BestBuy, and probably our last.

    Microwave had a defect

    The microwave looks nice and it seems to work well, but it is uneven because one of the legs are (somehow) shorter than the other three. I would’ve recommend if it wasn’t for the defect.

    Nice looking microwave

    Was happy during the time frame the microwave was operable. However, not long after purchasing it and using it, there was a malfunction in its operation that was too expensive to fix. I had to dispose of it and buy a replacement microwave,

    Defective Rotator

    Rotater mechanism began making a terrible cracking noise on every use after the 3rd month of purchase! When the disk rotates, the noise it emits sounds like an old fax machine with expired rollers. Date of purchase April 2021. Label indicates manufactured in January 2021. Maybe stay away from that production series? My purchase was presumably brand new. Noise has not gone away after giving 2 months worth of a benefit of a doubt. I'm currently going through the lousy coupon process with GE, which does not qualify for repair.

    CAN SELL BUT CAN NOT FIX!

    Bought this Microwave 3/29/22 Now today I brought it back to Best Buy to get fixed under warranty. They could not fix it or did not want to. They blew me off . You can sell junk but can not fix it! Mike b Mesa Az.

    It's been a yr since we bought it and it seems like it takes longer to heat up food. It hasn't been damaged in any sort of way.

It is a 950 watt unit so it should work quickly for most food items. Please make certain the proper 3" air clearance around the microwave is observed, and that it is installed on a 15 amp dedicated circuit.     It works. It does the job but it is cheap as crap. The push bottom to open the door does not always work well.

    Great Microwave for Apartments

    This microwave fits perfectly on my apartment countertop. It comes with many automatic settings that I use a lot. For other purposes, the instructions are easily understood and simple to use.

    You get what you pay for - I feel this will not have a long life ALSO, should have bought in white - finger prints on unit which will not come off when I clean

    It’s horribly loud! Makes me nervous. Thinking about returning it. Hate the surface material. Shows every fingerprint and came with stuff on the surface that can’t be cleaned off. Like someone touched it with a chemical and it’s permanently altered. I paid much more than I wanted to because they were out of stock on the $100 one. I feel I paid way too much for one that’s annoyingly loud.

    Oven is noisy, but works fine. I ordered online and paid for the Geek Protection Plan. I was later informed by instore employee that they do not service or repair microwaves.

    The plug was not made to coexist with my stove or refrigerator plug. I couldn't fit them both into the same outlet. I am confident that GE makes great products because my brother has a refrigerator by them from 1989 and it is still working. I'm sure I would've had the same luck with the microwave, but unfortunately, I never got the opportunity to try it. Who knew that I had to check the plug before purchasing?

    popcorn timer not good....should be more than 1 minute. some defrost buttons not really necessary. hard to read buttons in the dark. print too small.
