quiet while running fits on counter without taking a lot of space

Great product, I’d highly recommend it for small kitchens

For the price and features this one is one of the best. Looks nice and has a bulb inside which most seem to no longer have in this category. No Issues with this one.

This replaces an older model GE Microwave oven that is showing some rust inside. Cooks about as efficiently as old one. I like features vs. price. However, this microwave's construction quality cannot compare to the old one. Sides rattle especially when cooking. Biggest problem is the button to open the door; it takes so much force the microwave slides across the counter!

GE microwave. A very simple small microwave. That’s all I needed. This one however, does not have any lights on the control panel. So I need to turn on the lights in order to see the power button, etc. ok, it was the least expensive microwave, BUT, it 2022 for heavens sake!

I've had this product for a few months now. No issues so far. The '30 sec' button and express buttons are very useful.

I'd include photos but why waste more time? Done. Tried it this morning. Nothing. We used the mic about once every other week. We just cook more so than reheat in a mic. So all told, we used it approximately three years at an average of 30 seconds a week for a grand total of 78 minutes on this unit. Give it the benefit of the doubt, would doubling that figure to come to 156 minutes sound better? OK. We'll look at these generous figures rather than the real one. Two and a half hours cooking time? Forty two dollars and 80 cents an hour. Whatever. My bottom line is three years after purchasing new - it's dead? I'll look at other models before GE again.

This microwave looks great, works great and simple to use for us elderly.

I bought this microwave to replace a total useless microwave that that gave out twice. This one has not given any issues. Had since April 2017.

We purchased this microwave 2 months ago. We've used it several times without any issues. It heated quickly, looked nice. One morning it just died. Out of no where, just stopped working and wouldn't turn on anymore. It's under warranty so, I'll be taking it into the Geek Squad, but I'd much rather have a different brand. Not sure what happened, but I wouldn't recommend this product to any one.

Came quickly and was well packaged. Looks nice and does the job.

Microwave seems to work well; no problems so far; price was right.

you need a flashlight to set panel, it is only backlit after you start to program programing

The GE/Bodewell warranty service is TERRIBLE!! Bought this microwave in February 2024 and it worked about 10 months before it stopped working. Scheduled a service call so they could verify it was not working and fix or send me a new one. The technician came to my house and told me it was irreparable and I would have to follow up with the warranty service. When I called again, the warranty service people said the technicians aren't authorized to declare the appliance irreparable and that they would have to schedule ANOTHER service call for that. We've already been without a microwave for weeks waiting for this to get resolved!

I have only good things to say about GE. It has never had any issues and I enjoy it a lot.

Bought this same microwave about 3 years ago..works fine, however the inside is peeling and is discolored. It’s disgusting looking. I see others have had the same issue! Any suggestions? I did buy the warranty, but it ran out . I would not recommend.

I really wanted to like this microwave and it did work very well up until this past weekend. We don’t use our microwave a ton, but for basic meal prep. It did what was expected and everything was fine. Then the other day, almost to the day that I purchased it, it malfunctioned. Very disappointed GE, very disappointed.

The machine worked for 2+ months. The turntable gearing failed. After having a Breville Soft Close - the door was so loud!!!

Low power relative to previous larger Whirlpool unit means 50% more time required to cook or heat. Hard to see control panel (everyone who has used it states they cannot see or read the controp panel). The main issue of concern however, is that this unit just started coming on by itself one morning after a power failure. Unit was 6 months old. When power was restored, we found the unit was coming on by itself - for how long, do not know...but the exterior was very hot to touch and no doubt posed a fire hazard. Fortunate we were home and was caught before it started a fire. Unplugged and will contact GE Monday.
