The Beverage, Pizza, and Potato buttons don't use a sensor, rather make time estimates based on an amount number entered. It's easier to just use time cooking. Also, it's not possible to mute the finished and incessant reminder beeps when cooking is finished. One of my favorite features. Store selection was limited when my old one failed (supply chain issues).

Just in time for a new G.E. one on black Friday. love this microwave and appreciate the "END" indicator. picked it up the next day so had it in time for leftover heat ups.
