Great Microwave. Rubber Casters Eliminate Noise

I put a 1.5 inch round rubber furniture caster cup under each foot and the noise disappeared. (I bought these on Amazon for $10.) The cup also prevents the microwave from sliding. (The microwave's feet are short and metal which I think is due to the fact that the microwave is designed to also be used inside an enclosure. ) I have been very satisfied with this microwave, and would definitely buy again. The controls work fine, and it does everything that I want it to do. I have not found the screen to be hard to read and I don't have great vision.

Glass turntable not secure and put small dip in front inside panel that is noticeable. I bought as recently opened, but BB didn’t pack turntable correctly in the foam.

Limited power

The unit it replaced would take a couple of minutes to reheat coffee. This unit thinks about it for three or four minutes and then takes another 4 to actually do the work. After having the prior (GE Profile) unit for 15 years before the sensor blew, we are having a rough time adjusting the cooking times. Learning anew.

Good replacement for my old GE profile spacemaker 2 microwave in terms of size - fits into the old cutout, slightly wider than the spacemaker 2.

I had a G.E., luckily this was very close to my old one. Doesn’t seem to cook as fast as my old one, but easy to use.

Great performance. Had to buy exactly this model to fit in my space. My previous model lasted 17 years. This new model is slightly taller. Had removed mounting buttons (Mine just fits into a wooden cabinets) to ensure it fits well into the space. GEHugh end appliances (Profile series) still is relevant in increasingly competitive alternatives.... Always feel great to see American manufacturing doing well.

First one broke fuse but repaired

The reason for the two stars is that it stopped heating completely after about 18 months. It's outside the warranty, so if you do get this microwave - buy the extended warranty.

Spacesaver and fits

Its very spacious for its size. 800 Watts power means heating the food is a bit slower. The materials used for construction are cheap, could have better finger print resistance. Unfortunately i could only find this one microwave that fits the space
