Its been 5 months now since we purchased this microwave. Our overall experience has been good except the following: 1. keys require some extra pressure to operate. 2. There is no option to set the timer manually. 3. Door closes with a lot of noise.

This microwave is super easy to use. It has tons of room inside for larger containers. It has a clean, sleek look and sits well on our countertop.

It is a good size for what we two humans need. We have two gripes. The first is the buttons are not backlit. I had to hang a light so we could see what we were pressing. The second is the cord is very, very, very short. I know they need to be but our last one had a much longer cord. We had to rearrange everything to get the cord to reach.

We really like this microwave. I’m so glad I got rid of the LG and came back to GE. Sensor works, everything is pretty intuitive. You do have to press “cook time” before you type in your time, which has taken a bit to get used to. (The first 6 number keys are auto-start). The only irritating thing is that if you open the door before the time is up, the microwave doesn’t revert back to the time. i.e... husband hits the 1-minute key, takes cat food out after 15 seconds, next morning I get up and the microwave is still sitting at :45. And, honestly, if that’s the worst thing, it’s a pretty good appliance :)

The second unit we got is great! The first unit we ordered came and evidently was either damaged in transit or was defective. It appeared the exhaust fan died within the first two, brief, uses and then the unit kept filling with steam on use. But Best Buy was great and exchanged the unit without any hassle and this unit has been working like a charm for a couple weeks now.

I re-did my built-in oven and microwave above it. after a few years the switch went bad on the microwave. since it was already built in I just went and bought another exact same microwave. that made switching it out very simple. hopefully the switch on this one will hold up better.

We love this microwave, it cooks fast, defrosts quickly, super easy to clean and it is amazingly quiet. I would 10/10 recommend.

It's the perfect size for us and seems to work so much better than our old one. Bonus: It makes popcorn perfectly. The bag is bursting without all the unpopped kernels!

A great microwave. It has the power that I was looking for, at the very good price that It costs. It functions great, and the pre set cooking times are really convenient and a time saver from trying to guess how long to cook an item. The food cooks to perfection with a great flavor.

This is the first actual microwave I’ve ever purchased. All my other ones had been gifted to me with slight flaws, but they worked well. But this microwave is amazing! We have a big family and I needed something I could fit two bowls of oatmeal in, and this definitely accommodates that need! The fan isn’t any louder than any other, smaller microwave I’ve owned. One of the features I really like is that when it’s done cooking or defrosting or whatever, it beeps until you acknowledge the beep. I think the function buttons work great, I’ve never had a popcorn button that actually popped the bag without burning it or me having to stop it before the time was up, but with this microwave, I just throw the bag in and walk away. It has a sensor for reheating foods and cooking veggies which saves it from being overdone. If/when this microwave kicks the bucket, I’ll definitely be purchasing another.

pretty good for the value. Replaced this with the smaller one we had. Love how spacious it is and heats up food very quickly.

There's not a lot to say about this microwave. It will hold very large dishes and its 1250 watts makes for very quick and even cooking. It's a good value for the money.

You're putting me on the spot. It works. The Honda just beeps and flashes at me trying to give my a seizure.

Unfortunately my daughter's microwave finally gave up the ghost but it was almost 30yrs old. She was sentimentally attached to it since it was the only one she ever new but that attachment went right out the window when I installed this GE model and suddenly the popcorn that would kind of pop and leave half kernels in the bag suddenly popped over 95% of it and was hot and fresh and crispy. Easy to use and much more powerful and smaller than the older one at a fraction of the price.
