I bought it March 29, 2022 and it died June 3, 2024. So disappointing. It was a decent microwave minus the short life span. Only other issue was condensation buildup after heating up food. It would show thru on the front of the microwave door with no way to wipe it off as the steam had gotten inside of the door.

Despite the numerous positive reviews, I made the mistake of disregarding the negative ones. Regrettably, our unit malfunctioned within just six months of use. Due to Best Buy's tight return policy, we had no choice but to deal with GE's customer service. While they were prompt in their response, the only recourse for a "small" appliance was a lengthy 6-8 week procedure that ultimately resulted in a reimbursement check, limiting us to purchasing another GE microwave of similar value. Given the chance, I'd steer clear of this brand entirely! Here's to hoping the next one lasts longer than the first.
