It was good. Cooked potatoes perfectly, as if by magic. You just hit the potato button. This one doesn't do potatoes well at all. I regret the purchase, but I know the seller, Best Buy, has a very short return policy. I didn't want to be stuck without a microwave, so I'm stuck with this microwave. GE just has built-in obsolescence it appears. Too bad! The old one just went out, and it was only about 5 yrs old, I think.
