It’s actually a Toshiba magnetron inside, and trying to find the exact one that is in this microwave was almost impossible. The one we found was $120 which obviously just doesn’t make sense at that point. Save yourself the time, frustration, and money and get a different brand. GE has gone so downhill since being bought out, we have had issues with every appliance in our kitchen. It’s a shame that such a reputable brand could be ruined in such a short time.
