This one appeared to have descent reviews over all the rest so we went with it. Purchased on January 1, 2020, today, January 23, 2020 went to heat a cup of coffee and a very bad noise started and it wouldn't heat it. Completely dead. And would you believe it, the return period ended on January 16th. A week to early. What a waste of $180. I love how GE boasts on its website how much of their products are now being mfr'd in the States. Unfortunately, this item isn't one of them. Another great thing about this product is the price decreased by $35 right after we purchased it.

About 6 weeks after buying it, it started making funny noises and rotating unevenly. ... and kept getting worse! I had NOT purchased extended warranty and Best Buy said tough luck although it was less than 60 days when I tried to return it. When I complained to GE, they agreed to give me "rebate" of the cost of microwave towards another GE item. Really hoping this one works better!
