Loud Noise

The first one begin to spark inside after a few second of warming food. The second Microwave, the front panel with the number/cooking selection fail to work all of the time. I will not purchase this model again.

Crap

Avoid GE junk.

Bought this microwave to replace a older broken GE microwave just because it would fit into the existing cabinet and trim kit. It broke several weeks later just outside of the return window. What a pain. I will never buy another shoddy GE product again. I replaced this with a Panasonic microwave and it is much better.

I paid $174 at the best buy. i won't recommend anyone to buy . Was working well, but all of a sudden stopped working. Any solutions please.

GE Microwave

First microwave purchased died after 4 months! GE gave me a good faith refund which was a loooong process!!!

Good microwave

Since the user interface is almost identical it was easy to learn. It works very well and is relatively quiet. The only negative thing is that the keys are hard to see in dim light.

Not working correctly

Seemed okay first few uses but have random loud “fan hitting something noise” when it shuts off. It hits something and ticks to a stop. Not the back fan but internal right area. Called GE and it’s under warranty but it’s a massive inconvenience and my time to now get it serviced and deal with this item that was brand new. GE suggested I could send it back to Best Buy but again it’s my time and I have little spare time to deal with the issue. So peeved the brand new item is a lemon.

Struck Out Twice

Based on the positive reviews, I purchased another one assuming I received a lemon. The second one lasted 2 months before it kept tripping the breaker. At least this time, it is still under warranty.

Awful..

Over heated and shut off completely, won’t turn on. The unit was awesome while it was working though. I’m outside the return policy and I didn’t by a protection plan so I’m pretty much stuck with it. Waste of $200 dollars.

It stopped working on Jan 16th whis is past the return date. It was a GE and I thought that was a great brand. All I want to do is exchange it for her but unsure how to go about it or if its even possible. Ive bought alot from best buy in the last couple years but dont know if I'll buy from there again.

Beyond that, I was not impressed with the keypad, unit was noisy, seemed almost too powerful at 1150 Watts. Will try another brand.
