Beyond that, I was not impressed with the keypad, unit was noisy, seemed almost too powerful at 1150 Watts. Will try another brand.

There were times when it worked normally, but mostly, it sounded like something was hitting the fan repeatedly as soon as it turned on. I made arrangements to get a replacement, thinking it was one defective unit, but after reading other reviews here, I decided to cut my losses and get a Panasonic.

Cheap product

We are already having issues with the replacement. Tried to heat something up and it wouldn't heat up. Then it gave us an error message. I wont be replacing with the same model again.

Poor product

It stopped when I was heating up food, the light of the clock and the inside light were off. After an hour, the clock came back on, I heat up a glass of milk, it was turning and has the noise, but the milk 's still cold.

The microwave never turns off now unless we leave the door open. No clue why this is happening. I also noticed Best Buy increased the price of the item by $65 (a year later). Don’t waste your money.

Stopped working after 1yr

Exhaust fan on two different units was defective

Ordered a second one - returning the first - thinking this was a one-off issue. Received the second unit today and the exhaust fan didn’t even spin - creating a buzzing noise. Two strikes and GE is out! Will look to another brand for my microwave needs.

Bad customer service on the online shopping.

Loved it for almost a month

Windows Steamed Up - No Longer Returnable

When I used to heat food the windows totally steamed up in between glass. Less than a month old and NO LONGER RETURNABLE. Do not buy this product/ do not use best buy!

Would not buy again

It has great reviews, but not quite sure why we keep getting different issues with each one. Finally thought we got a good one, but this third one suddenly sounds like it’s going to blow up when it’s turned on. The employees we have dealt with have been wonderful, but unfortunately, we won’t be trying a 4th one of this particular microwave. Very unimpressed.

GE microwave

Don’t know if it was damaged during shipment or if there’s no quality control at GE. The product works but the control panel is not attached properly and the frame seems slightly bent. There is a strange noise at the end of operation at times. It sounds as though a part that spins during operation is touching another part.
