    The microwave died in two years three months. Three months over the extended warranty.

    I tried, and I return. Making a lot of noise when it's working. Also, there is weird sound comes on when it done. It sounds like from its motor.

    Unfortunately the microwave stopped working entirely within 5 months. Apparently needs to be returned theough the manufacturer, but the process is far more time-consuming than might be expected.

    Horrible Noise from Back, like grinding/whirring!

    Just got this delivered a few hours ago. I tried it. Noise horrific! I was worried it would explode. Noise is coming from the back. It did cook a mac and cheese meal, but I'm afraid to use it again. I'm 75 and can't get it back to store or post office. Help!

    This GE microwave oven received was wobbly when placing on counter top. After examine carefully we found out the root-cause was due to one of the stand (on the back right corner) bent in causing the unit moving unsteadily from side to side. We had to return the unit to Best Buy store and had their customer service order another one for us. What a waste of time. GE production line should do a better QA job.

    Save yourself the trouble - buying something else

    On the 2nd day when I turned on the microwave for 3 minutes, it overheated after 2 mins and turned off. It became extremely hot. Microwave was returned the next day. Side note: the microwave is very loud when it's heating up.

    I bought this microwave one month ago but due to repair at my home i opened one week before and my microwave is making an unusual or loud humming noise, I contact the customer service but she said as we missed the returnable period she can't do anything. I am Elite member of Best buy but facing horrible experience. I don't know if the product is not good or my piece is bad. I will go to showroom today and see if they can help.

    We need to return this item. We have used it only a dozen times and every time we do moisture accumulates between the panels on the door and take about an hour to resolve.

    Microwave does the job. Only complaint is the plug in is not flat so pushes the microwave out further from the wall due to the "normal" plug on the microwave

    Loved this microwave until 9 months in when it started sparking when turned on! GE does not service units like this and is not replacing the unit in full. I don't know why I would ever buy and GE appliances if they do not stand behind them.

    I bought this in march. I liked it . Right up untill it just stoped warming up . Its now september so 7 months thats it . Ive had cheap microwave that lasted years . Im going to contact manufacturer

While we're glad you initially liked this model, we really hate to hear you've had an issue with the microwave no longer heating. We know not being able to use your microwave for heating would be a real inconvenience, and would like to help. If the microwave is still running but not heating, you might want to check the fuse and circuit breaker to ensure enough power is reaching the unit. You can also try disconnecting the unit from power for a couple minutes to reset the electrical components. Checking that the door is closing and latching securely is also important, to ensure the cooking process can start. We hope this information is helpful, but if you are not able to resolve your heating issue our service department can be reached at 1-800-432-2737. If you think you may need to take advantage of your limited warranty, information about that is available on page 15 of your manual.     Made a loud rumbling noise

    The microwave made a loud rumbling noise every time we used it. We checked the rollers and the turntable but couldn't make the noise stop. We ended up exchanging it for a different microwave.

    Noisy! This microwave was super loud. Fan kicks in after heating food and it's like an engine roaring. The top of the microwave also gets very hot. This microwave kept blowing my circuit in the kitchen. It would slide around on counter when I tried to press the buttons. It did cook popcorn really well. Returned and got my old microwave fixed instead.

    This was a replacement microwave for my mother inlaw. She is very particular about what she wants. She liked this microwave because of it's great looks and ease of operation. She's had no problems so far! Lol!
