This model does not have a convection baking functionality but we use a separate fryer for that so it really met all our requirements and expectations. It's too early for us to say anything about its reliability if any concern there. It's a good size and big enough for all our needs.

Although it is stainless steel around the door, the sides and top are black. The old model was stainless all around and looks much nicer. This model also has a plug that adds about 2 inches to the depth compared to the old one which has a 90 degree plug. Customer service at Bestbuy was very good and delivery was faster than expected.

I have a family and we go through microwaves every few years (for a variety of reasons) and so far this one is durable and gets the job done. I'm not going to offer any fluff... good product, good price and if you get at least a few years out of it, its well worth it... so far so good for us!
