However it makes a bit of noise as the heating begins and also while it ends the heating segment. The cause of the noise seems to be the plate inside the microwave as it begins and ends its rotating motion.

The primary reason is that it has one of the largest interior cavities for its size. That said, the quality has deteriorated over time. The first two we bought each lasted ~5 years. The third one lasted 4 years, the the fourth only 2 years. If the replacement conks out in less than 4 years, I won’t buy it again.

It was nearly identical to this one. So when it died, I naturally wanted to get one as much like it as I could. This one fit the bill! I use it on a daily basis and have been very happy with it so far. Hopefully, it will last as long as the other one did!

Has all the basic features/functions that a microwave needs, including the Add 30 Seconds button that every one needs. Big roomy interior and turntable with 1150 watts of power. The 4 end beeps aren’t too loud and immediately stop if you open the door before the beeps finish.

I gave it 4 stars because it is difficult to press your selections; you have to press really hard. I have to use a pencil on the eraser side because I believe with continuity it will damage my fingers.

It was very close in features and dimensions to what we had, and fits perfectly. The only drawback is that you cannot mute the ready / complete beep, which means you have to stop it a few seconds short for early morning coffee and late night snacks!

This was to replace an old white GE that was many years old and dead. Like the new one. Two wishes, 1 Really should have stainless steel on all sides and needs brighter lights on both keyboard, clock and inside when it is running.
