The outside options dont light up. So its hard to see for us old folks. I thought the microwave would be delivered to my door it wasnt. Dropped at the wrong address. Was lucky a young man from grubhub brought it to my door. Needed help in putting it up on the counter.

Also I specifically bought this to allow my older parents an easy dinner plate reheat option. Although the device label inside the door says reheat “3” is for a dinner plate, it only allows you to choose reheat “1” or reheat “2”. There is no “3” allowed. Pretty much a waste, they still have to program cook power and now they can’t see the buttons.

I previously had a Panasonic and it was so easy. I'm sure I will like this microwave too, once I get familiar with it although I think they took a simple process and made it more difficult.

I would add excellent if only the start button was easier to push. It is partially hidden If I want to cook 4 minutes it's perfect but when you want extra seconds it's a little tricky

The older model had a better carriage, (new one has a slight noise in rotation). Older unit was more quiet at start up. New unit steams up between the glass when cooking a potato, taking 10 minutes to somehow evaporate!? Old unit never did that. Also, disturbingly, the new unit has no lamp inside...a feature I assumed would be there. Sure miss that. Kind of cheap for GE to engineer out the useful light feature. Overall, this product is a somewhat of a disappointment!
