I recently purchased the Ge 1.6 stainless steel sensor Microwave as a gift for a family member. So far they are enjoying it with no complaints.

This microwave does everything I want. The only downside is the light is fairly dim. I like the add 30 sec feature and the sensor cooking feature.

Great microwave for above the price. We have used it in our theater room to pop popcorn on many occasions and it always pops it just right. We are very happy with this purchase and recommend this microwave to anyone looking for a reliable product.

the performance was great, the item did fail causing me to return it however, or the value it performed better than microwaves I have purchased for much higher prices

Great Microwave. The functions are exactly what I wanted. The beeping that i makes is not to annoying, and the reminder beep is pretty good as well.

I've had a GE microwave oven before and loved it. When I had to replace it, I could not find one that filled my needs so I chose another brand. When that one died, I found another GE that is a little smaller in capacity, but more powerful and it's interior height makes it much easier to clean than the previous one.

It matches well with my other appliances. It has a sizeable inside without being too big.

excellent microwave with sensor cooking and is powerful enough for small family needs

This has been a great replacement for our previous microwave. We needed similar wattage to our previous model so keep that in mind when choosing a replacement microwave. We returned a microwave because the wattage was way lower than we were used to and this model fits well now.

Bought as asecondary unit to use in downstairs den. Cooks everything perfect so far, About 60 seconds for a regular size bag of popcorn or a bowl of oatmeal. Very satisfied.

This was a replacement for a microwave that stopped working after 9 months.

This is a good microwave. It is powerful and does the job. I have also used it for popping popcorn and it knows when the popcorn is finished and it's popped perfectly.

Large microwave much larger than I really need but I'm totally satisfied with the purchase

I just received my new microwave. I immediately noticed it was quite a bit smaller than my previous one which was 1.6 cu ft. This product is advertised at 1.6 cu ft so I did not check the external dimensions. When you calculate the cooking area of 15" X 14.5" X 9.5", according to my calculations; it is actually 1.2 cu ft. That is false advertising. I bought this product because my previous GE microwave worked fine for approximately 10 years and I wanted an exact replacement. 1.2 cu ft microwaves can typically be bought for under $100.

Works great so far. No complaints other than the door does seem to close loudly.

Our kitchenaid $900 micro died just out of warranty. This one fit the opening in our cabinets perfectly at a much better price.
