The microwave is larger than described, so as a result is not esthetically pleasing. Every single mark shows up. I have owned GE products before and never had an issue with dust or fingerprints. I have to wear a glove when using it, so I do not have to clean it after every use or worry about excessive cleaning ruining the finish. The instruction manual was poor. So, these factors coupled with the usual unpleasant experiences at the store, make it an unwise purchase.

I had purchased 5 different stainless steel microwaves (1.2-2.0 cubic feet - GE, Panasonic, LG) before settling on this one. Besides the LG2010ST, this was the only microwave that actually had the required features we wanted (true sensor cook - that works, an interior light that goes on both when the door opens and when the microwave is operating, and good quick-operation buttons). The size was just right for our countertop area, not too big (like the 2.0 cubic footers) but still large enough to handle our biggest food containers. Food cooks quickly and evenly. The interior light remains lit when the door is open and when cooking (many other microwaves no longer do this - which is outright dumb). Easy to use and looks very classy next to our GE Profile Stainless french-door fridge. Very quiet too.

It worked one time before the button failed to open the microwave door. I would not recommend.

Was dented & door didn't work. Plus - customer service was terrible - went to another store.

I love my microwave. It has everything that I am looking for.

This microwave died after a lil over a month. I don't know what went wrong but I'm going to purchase another one - but a different model. I will have to admit the key pad was a lil too dark for may mother to see the numbers or options. I think I'll buy a white one next time ~ actually soon.

The oven overheats if in use for 5 minutes or more and shuts down. The top surface of the oven is extremely hot to touch and I feel it is a fire hazard. Additionally, it runs very loudly.

Worked fine for about 8 months. Quit working. Poor Quality

We have always had full size microwaves but have downsized recently. This microwave has a small footprint but does the job of a full size. It's easy to use. It's the quietest microwave I have ever used

This is the 4th microwave I've had in this custom-built space in 15 years. We use them A LOT, I'd say it runs on average 1/2 to 1 hour every day, total. Cook whole chickens, fish, vegetables, you name it. This one lasted about 6 years. We have been happy with the GE microwaves, this was our 3rd one. (The Panasonic didn't last very long and had a weird cardboard panel inside.) I like the way the light works, giving you a great view of the food cooking as well as being able to see to clean the inside. Others, the light doesn't stay on when you need it, or it doesn't light the whole inside evenly. So even though ours just died, we plan to replace it with the exact same model.

I like this microwave - more powerful than any I've had in the past (boils water about 30 seconds faster, for example).

We have had this unit about a year and it works perfect. My wife says it is her favorite of all the microwaves we have owned in the past.

Hard to evaluate a product that does what it says it does. I liked this model since it was not a giant size. We use microwave ovens to reheat food and beverages, cook vegetables, etc... nothing complex and nothing too big, certainly no turkeys or roasts so the small er capacity was perfect and doesn't require a big footprint on the counter.

needed a specific size to fit in custom cabinetry... good looking unit, too. unfortunately the microwave simply DIED in two months. best buy warranty only covers 30 days. not happy.

I loved this microwave until it died yesterday! I purchased this microwave 14 months ago and it worked wonderfully until now. Now, everything appears to be working except it won't heat anything! From my research, the magnetron appears to have died, which costs almost as much as a new microwave to replace. I won't be buying anymore GE products, especially microwaves!

I bought this microwave 3 years ago to replace a Sharp Carousel we'd had for 20 something years. From day one there was a breeze that came from around the door seal and the door didn't always close completely. You had to give it an extra push. I would have returned it but I am disabled and can't move it. Today, it just went dead while cooking. Nothing. No power. And just 1 week out of the protection plan coverage.

I bought this microwave oven 3 years ago and it has been very reliable and works like a higher wattage microwave. I use it everyday and it still looks and runs like new! Love it!

I picked this product because of GE's usually good reputation. Because it was big enough to hold my casserole dish and the look of stainless ....BUT after 10 months of moderate use it died last night . Powers on but won't heat ! ....expensive boat anchor!

I bought this microwave 14-16 months ago. It worked great until it died. My last microwave was not a GE and lasted for 14 years. I am very disapointed in this product.
