    The price was just too low for how well it has turned out. Cooks evenly, very quiet, and the control system takes fewer strokes to start the oven.

    1st product ordered was a GE brand. Upon delivery, it was noticed that the upper right rear of unit was severely dented. BB called to offer a Whirlpool and new delivery/install. When new unit was delivered, it was discovered that install could not be performed due to tile and glued on old bracket. As I paid for removal as well, they removed the packaging for the new unit which had the mounting template for me to install new unit. Mounting the new support bracket for the new unit will be very difficult with out the template. I contacted the store and they are investigating.

    Cheaply made! Light on clock flickers all the time and it is hard to make out the numbers. The door seems like it will break every time it is shut. GE should be ashamed for putting their name on this microwave. It works fine to defrost and heat up food for now. I am very disappointed with this microwave.

    Upgraded our 10-yr old GE microwave that we purchased from Best Buy. For Black Friday, Best Buy provided the best online experience to compare models, capabilities and options. Our new GE microwave was scheduled for installation within a week, and we were back to heating and eating meals so quickly. And Best Buy setup the haul away and recycle of our old microwave.

    Overall...so far we are pleased w this oven. It performs as advertised and is a good value for being a no frills oven. The only slight negatives are 1) fan is pretty loud compared to our previous oven, and 2) it would be nice if the control buttons were back-litten...hard to see function buttons unless room lights are on.

    Old GE Micro broke after twelve years. Ordered this new one. It is a total upgrade to the old one and the installer had it in and tested in 10 minutes.

    I replaced my Maytag over stove microwave with this GE microwave. The Maytag had cost me twice as much and broke twice within 2 years, The GE is much quieter and heats more evenly.
