It evenly heats all items including the ones that are very thin, like tortilla. Samsung microwaves were unable to heat thin items. They had to kept on an inverted box to raise the height. In Samsung, the items placed next to each other took longer time to heat versus stacked one above the other.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the stainless steel to replace an old but same microwave because of broken handle made of plastic, believe or not, the handle bar and other small parts cost over $120 for some strange reason, so I just bought a new stainless steel to replace it. Don't buy the plastic version, too expensive for the parts.

I like the stainless steel but it does get fingerprints. The only thing that I find to be a minor issue is that with my old GE microwave, when you set the timer, you would hit start and that was it. With this one, you have to hit timer instead and I can't seem to get used to that!
