    So far, so good. This microwave is a replacement for a similar GE microwave that only worked for three years. I hope this one lasts longer. This one sounds like a cheaper version of the previous one when I close the door. It has a tinny sound. It makes a crackling sort of sound when it's heating food also.

    This replaced an almost identical Kenmore model that l coaxed 10 yrs. of service. The door hinges wore out causing the breaker to trip. The door on this model opreates smoothly and after a months use I am satisfied. Not the most expensive model, but if I get 10 yrs out of this with almost daily use it will be a best buy. So far, so good.

    I purchased this microwave as a replacement for an LG model that died after 6 years. While it did not measure exactly the same as the old model, it fit in place perfectly, did not require replacing the wall mounting plate. It is working ever since just fine, has more options than the LG model had. We are happy with this unit.
