The microwave works fine, the problem is I can’t get the fan to turn off. I read the directions, followed them, but it still goes on every time I use the microwave. It is loud and annoying when not needed. I was thinking of returning it, but installation is too hard, so I’m putting up with the noise.

I rated this 4 stars because compared to the unit we replaced, which was a Kenmore Elite that cost $900 in 2011, this unit's fit and finish along with the overall build quality is less than 5 stars. But otherwise, for the price, this unit works very well and is easy to install. The mounting holes on top weren't in the same place as our Kenmore so I had to do more drilling, but other than that it was easy to install. BEWARE - it takes two strong adults to install this or any other Over-the-Range microwave. I would definately recommend this unit if you need something in this price point that works well and looks good.

I like the appearance, the features, the ease In using. I had microwave professionally installed. One day, for what appeared to be for no reason...the vent went on. I could not turn it off and I could not activate any control. The installer came out and could not find a problem. A tech person from Best Buy came out and told me that whenever I cook on top of stove to turn on vent. He explained that newer models require that vent be turned on as a safety measure. I hate the sound of vent on when using range; however, I will comply with suggestion.

This piece of junk didn’t even last 2 years. It never worked great to start. The vent doesnt work. Heating takes a long time. The sounds for the buttons and finishing stopped working in under a year. The display numbers started flickering also. But just under 2 years it stopped doing its one job - heating food. Best Buy Geek Squad charges $104 to come diagnose problem, which i already knew what it was. Then it was going to be over $300 for them to repair it. That’s more than the microwave cost new!!! GE couldnt have cared less since warranty only for 1 year. Absolute junk.

This microwave looks nice and cooks well when it works. It is finicky though! The door often doesn't latch completely so the timer and fan work but turntable and cooking do not. I need to push hard on the handle to complete the circuit when this happens. And now the 1 and 2 keys on the keypad have stopped working, and others work intermittently.... so not very functional after 6 months of use!

Easy to keep clean, exactly matches the refrigerator I bought from same line. Both items coordinate well with other appliances. Looks so good, and has all the usual microwave capabilities/features.

Its quiet, which is a nice touch. The directions on how to mount it were very helpful. Easy to get inside. Doesn't have as many features as my previous microwave, but that's fine.

Works just as it should, easy to use and looks modern. My family and I love it!

Live this microwave so far it is great addition to our kitchen appliances. It looks good installed and works even better.

Easy enough to install, works great. Replaced our old microwave with this one. Heats well, easy to clean. Door clicks open and shut fairly loudly which is my only concern. Otherwise a sturdy machine so far, we have used it for four months.

After a power surge took out my 15-year-old over-the-range GE microwave, it seemed too good to be true that this replacement would be quieter and less expensive. It even fit on the existing wall mount. Great value.

We just got this microwave as a gift from our children. Compared with our ancient microwave this is great! BUT the keypad is hard to read when the lighting in the kitchen is bright and impossible if the lights are low. I have to turn on the lights to turn off the under light at night. I understand that adding back light to the pad would add cost, but just make the graphics white instead of dull gray. Too bad this one flaw ruins an otherwise solid product.

Surprised at how quiet this is while in use. Like the "reminder" feature if you don't remove your heated food from the oven right away. Has all the things we were looking for in a over the stove microwave, plus was not difficult to install.

Second time buying this microwave. The digital display is going out on the first one. Let's hope this one does better. Otherwise, it's a nice looking microwave that works fine.
