Quick heat ups. Easy to clean. The only problem is that the writing on the panel is a little light, making it sometimes hard to read.

Solid Microwave

The price was good (on sale), and it fit almost perfectly into the same spot above the stove. Install wasn't bad, just switched out the wall mounts (they were slightly different) and drilled a couple new anchors into the cabinet above. Looks very similar to the older model (was about 8 years older), just a little sleeker. Very similar functionality, about what you would expect at this price point, with a couple extra buttons that are handy. I just hope this one lasts 10+ years, I don't think that is too much to ask, but GE isn't what they use to be.

Our old overhead microwave called it quits and we needed a replacement. I love how this microwave is simple, straight to the point and does it’s job well without all of the hassle of complicated electronics and extra buttons you really don’t need from a microwave. Hope this will last 10+ years! 2 thumbs up!

I also believe for it being a standard size unit, it will fit in most standard size homes and will be installed without any troubles at all

I like that it has a one button touch preset for 30 seconds, 1, 2,3, 4, 5, AND 6 minutes. This is very convenient. The other presets (popcorn, beverage, reheat, defrost, etc.) have all worked very well. The vent fan doesn’t suck up much, but it has 2 settings, though it is very loud. The vent will automatically go on if the stove beneath gets too hot. It was not easy to install, but we were retrofitting it after our old one broke, so maybe that was to be expected. Overall, solid appliance.

Make sure you read ALL the instructions before you put it up...hubby said he was all set then once it was all up I used the fan that night cooking supper and the house filled up with like smoke or whatever. It was because he didn't read one part of the instructions. The top of the microwave if your venting it outside you need to take the top off and turn the device the opposite way otherwise it vents it into your house. Had to take it back down the next day take that part off turn it and put it back up. So fyi, read ALL the instructions q
