The installation instructions for this GE 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave were very clear and easy to follow, which made the whole setup process smooth. It was delivered through white glove service, and everything arrived in great condition. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take much effort. I also had a great experience with the customer representative. They were courteous, listened carefully to our needs, and offered helpful suggestions. Because of their guidance, we were able to choose the best option for our requirements. Overall, a very positive experience from purchase to installation.

The microwave unit is quiet. Two levels of under unit lighting, Slow speed fan is very quiet. Heats items very nicely. Easy to use and clean and even install. Did not match my recent LG unit's frame so I had to drill holes for the back frame bracket and new holes for the top in the kitchen cabinets (LG died 1.5 years after purchase, no service plan, from HD and box was damaged). After installation I noticed that the door does not open. All tape was removed. It turns out that the top plastic fan / air grill interferes with the door mechanism near the hinge side. I am running the microwave without the top grill at the moment. Need to call service as I bought the full service 5 year plan for this one. Also note that one month after I bought the unit I was hired by a Best Buy store also. I have to note that here according to a rule. The issue appears to be just a plastic grill cutting issue and not on the actual microwave. I am giving this a good overall rating because, I have been using a table top microwave on a bedside like table (in the kitchen) and it is very inconvenient, and this one has brought such relief and ease of use and convenience.

Microwave works nicely. The speed settings are bit unusual, but nice, they start at 1 minute and go up to 9 minutes. To use other time frames you need to press the cook time button before pressing the time you wish to use. It would be nice to have the one minute feature and just be able to press it as along as you wish to cook.

I had to unexpectedly purchase this microwave during the Covid-19 Pandemic stay at home restrictions, following multiple Earthquakes that hit my area during the stay at home restrictions, If the pandemic itself was not enough to worry about. The earth had to shake things up a bit more! I believe my other one, which was not that old, must have had a power surge during the initial 5.7 earthquake. fortunately that my only real damage. And this was not a good time to be without a microwave, for sure. you can not be at stay at home restrictions during a pandemic and NOT have a microwave! I got online, ordered this microwave and had my brother help me install. I chose GE because I was replacing a GE and hoped all the mounting hardware would match up. The bracket did, but had to drill new holes for the mounting screws. all in all, it was installed in about a half hour. It is quieter than my old one, which I am very happy with. The old one had more features but this one has plenty for my needs. The only thing I can say I wish was different, is.. My old one had green digital lights for the time and such, that matched all my other appliances, but this one has white digital lights. wish it had the same display lights, but I will get used to it. I would recommend this microwave. It looks good, installed easily for my situation and is quiet. The last thing I want to say is THANK YOU Best Buy for being open for curb side pickup during a very different time in the world and being open and available to me when I need this item. Thank you!

everything is working and it is in use daily - 5 stars - easy to install and my wife and I are thankful for the length of time spent buy our sales person. He went the extra mile to insure us of this product. Hats off to him at best buy in Paducah Kentucky...

It has been a good item. I love the looks of it and how easy it is to keep it clean. It's also easy to navigate the buttons on it. The size is perfect! I wouldn't change anything on it!

I read lots of reviews. So fair to post one. Works great. Quiet. Fan option is nice. I installed by myself. Looks great. Most folks don't use any of the features. They just toss in the food and pick a time, but I had some leftovers today, chose "reheat", chose the type of food, chose the approximate amount (1.5 cups) and my food was heated perfectly. Time will tell, but so far I picked a good one.

works great! heats up the food in seconds super nice lots of room , and I like that is quiet , and easy to use. good quality and works great has the light which helps at night and looks super fancy also the fan works great!!! I'm glad I go this one. Is big, looks nice and heats up super good for the price you are getting something really good

So far am really happy with this microwave. Have been only using it for about two and a half weeks. Has worked well and is very spacious. Was easy to install by my son in law. Looks good over the stove. My kitchen is in the process of being remodeled so this over the stove microwave was an upgrade. A very welcome one! Also was a good price.

Fit perfectly and the installation was not hard. Replaced an earlier model. This new one has fixed a design flaw (that failed in our previous version) of raised buttons for three controls.

It is easy to install, easy to start and easy to operate. Cleaning is simple. Heat is uniform. Overall, a very solid item at a very nice price, complete with installation and haul-away of the old one. Looks sharp, too!

It really is a nice unit for the price. We were replace a unit that went bad after 12 years. Install wasnt too bad but you need an extra set of hands during some parts of the install. The microwave is a lot quieter than our old one and seems to take less time to cook the same items. Has some nice features and would buy again!

Brought it home and spent most of the afternoon taking out the old one, putting in the new wall bracket and installing the new unit. Instructions were easy to follow. Unit operates well, is much more quiet than the old unit. Have to listen to make sure I pushed start. Seems to be a good value.
