Our GE dishwasher also is making loud buzzing noise and occasional clicking noise. Both 2 years old. Both flimsy and cheaply built. Be very cautious.

We are really happy to hear that you are satisfied with the appearance, price, and usability of your microwave, but we can definitely understand how your dissatisfaction with the cleanability and performance would be frustrating. We sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused for you. Looking into it, we do have a few steps that may help you get the use you need out of your microwave. We do have a cleaning guide for the outside of the unit to keep it looking beautiful. For the most part, we recommend using a sudsy cloth on the case and then wiping it thoroughly dry. More information including the cleaning methods for the control panel is available on page 15 of the use and care manual. There was a short in the electronics that would make it periodically shut on and off. It’s got a decent aesthetic look to it but the build quality is far from being good. I tried it a second time around so far it’s lasted three months. Only reason why I bought it again is because I didn’t feel like changing out the plate on the back. Sad that companies don’t warranty their products for longer than you get them out the door anymore. I’d say purchased this at your own risk.

The Sales Associate knew what I needed and met my expectations! the delivery and installation was way beyond my expectations! the microwave works great! I have purchased many GE appliances before and have been very satisfied with their products.

While this is a basic unit, it works well and looks good. Biggest surprise is how much better the under unit (stove top) lighting is. This model really lights up the stove top below, rather than the wall behind like the previous model did. Very pleased!

Set up was okay, just wish the mounting holes on top matched the original because I had to drill new holes in my cabinet to mount this one. Very quiet, love that.
