The product has a cheap feel when you use the touch pad and the plastics seem to be low quality compared to the previous GE Microwave I had in the same price range. Plus they moved the install bolts which mean more drilling in the cabinet where the old one was located.

After an expensive installation (more than the price of the microwave), I saw a dent on the bottom of the door, and worse it is broken. It wont cook unless you open and close the door twice to reset the electronics (or else no button works and keeps flashing the word "food,") which is beyond frustrating. I would return it but I do not want to pay for installation again. This product was incorrectly labeled and has severe electronic issues. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.

The difference in the door noise is due to a firmer spring in the door latch; this is a normal condition for the microwave. You can lift up on the latch to feel the tension. I hope this helps! It is the fan that wouid come on to cool the space when using the stove … and it’s like it comes on high … terrible feature …It was a hassle getting in to the space so we kept it but I would have taken it back if I could have … my vote was vetoed by the installer of the house !!!

The motor had to be switched around the template was not the same as the one that was on the wall which was the same microwave only nine years old but all in all it's good

The back plate and cabinet holes all had to be redone. What should have been a 30 minute installation turned into over an hour. Be aware.
