Bought this to replace the exact same GE OTR microwave. The previous one lasted close to 5 yrs with daily use. Easy install, good quality, fair price and nice looking with easy to use buttons. Bought on line at Best Buy with curbside pick up the following day!

I love the way the microwave operates, but I can’t believe the handle snapped off so soon. I’m not rough with it, and I wouldn’t even say it gets used everyday. I called for a replacement handle and they want $58! I’m not even sure if I’d be able to replace the handle without knowing how to completely disassemble the door. The screws are located INSIDE the door. To replace the whole door, it’s $148! I might as well spend $200 and buy another brand that isn’t a cheap piece of junk. There is also a crack in the plastic on the bottom of the door.Even though the model number is different, this is exactly what my microwave looks like, so I’m assuming this is the new version. My model # JVM3162RJ1SS

When our counter top microwave failed, we wanted to replace it with an under cabinet unit. This was among the more cost effective units and it has exceeded our expectations. In addition to being easy to install and configure, we were pleasantly surprised to find how quiet it is when operating. The two brightness settings on the lights were also very helpful.

After doing research on CR, and reviews on Best Buy, one of the reasons I purchased this product was that it claimed to have 2 lights for the stove-top (not the typical one bulb), and the online manual confirmed it was two 40-watt incandescent bulbs. However, when it was installed (same product #), I discovered that GE changed that feature to a single 30-watt halogen bulb. Was really not happy about that. But the microwave itself works fine, and other than the above, I'm happy with it. But I feel a bit bamboozled by the take-away.

Easy to install. Easy to use. Great features! GREAT PRICE! Installed in 30 minutes max. Did not even remove the old bottom support tabs that were already mounted on the wall from the 15 year old model that this one replaced. Needed to trim the left tab with tin snips, however. BEST BUY has me hooked. Their delivery was great and they hauled away my old appliances no problem.

Works great! Easy to install, I would say this was a great value for the price.

From start to finish my online purchase went flawlessly, the pick went smoothly as well, when I brought it home I was afraid it wouldn't fit properly, well their measurements as specified was spot on, it fit like a glove and our microwave is incredible, for once I really think I got more bang for my bucks, thank you!

We purchased this microwave to replace one that was barely 3 years old. Hopefully this one will last longer than that. Overall the design and function are great. We got it on sale so that was a plus too. It is fairly quiet and my handy husband installed with minimal effort. We did buy online pick up in store and it was great.

No problems with my new GE microwave. It has everything I need and the price was decent. Love all the features. I am still getting used to the keypad. But, I have no real complaints. So far, so good. Special thanks to the installation team!

The GE microwave fit as expected. However the holes did not match up on top for my older GE microwave but I made it work fine. Great value for anyone.

Great microwave Easy to install easy to use good quality

The microwave is really good and very easy to use and has many options that make it convenient. It’s neat and is a perfect fit in the existing space. Price was right and the install was perfect.

It took a while to get it but it was worth the wait. We had it vented to outside the house. The 3 speed vent fan pulls everthing right out of the kitchen. My smoke alarm hasn't gone of since I got it. Best microwave I've ever had.

Installation instructions were not easy to follow but installation was completed after making some adjustments in the process. The unit when installed looks great operates quietly and works as expected. Best of all the price of the GE microwave was significantly less than the Kenmore unit it replaced when purchased in 2010.

Overall performance 5 stars gave rating 4 stars due to being loud. Functions are overall great and seems to be a great microwave for the price. Just seems louder then other microwaves i've used. Really its great other then being loud.
