Looks great! We bought it to replace an older sharp. Beware that new microwaves are slightly "taller" than they were 15 years ago. We had to cut the tiles a bit in order to get it to fit. I hope it lasts as long as the Sharp did!

Looks and works great. It’s the perfect size to fit our kitchen

Purchased this model on sale in the store and had Best Buy install it. It send to be working well. I do like the option to turn off the turntable. I also like the "add 30 seconds" option. Surface light has two settings which I also like. The vent fan noise doesn't bother me. The unit looks nice under the cabinetry. My range is not GE but the microwave matches really well.

Works great most of the time but once in a while it will freeze up and I will have to unplug it and plug it back in.

This is our second purchase of this model microwave, and we are very pleased with its performance.

Installation we did ourselves, wasn’t too hard but also not easy either. Took 3 of us to get it hung on the rather obscure hanging rack. I do part time house flipping so no stranger to Home diy. It looks good, works fine but a few things could be improved. Firstly it’s SO noisy. Like airplane taking off noisy. We’ve checked the exhaust setup and it’s just a noisy unit. Secondly, it doesn’t allow minutes and seconds to be setup because once you press a number it sets off as if that’s all you want. A bit silly.otherwise it works well and that’s about it.

Very happy the advanced team came out and installed the new microwave as the replacement had a little different screw placement in the cabinet. Works perfectly.

Buying this over-the-range microwave is one of our best decisions. We gained a lot of space on the counter. Installing it myself was not so. Let the experts do it! We got it done, but it was not as easy as I thought... good thing my brother is talented at this stuff! It works great, too!

This series of GE microwaves is known to have issues with the display. Mine was good for the first 6 months then occasionally flashed on the 2nd digit. I didn't think anything of it. Just after the year warranty expired the 2nd digit went completely crazy to where it is now often unreadable with the various segments of the number either not showing or randomly flashing like a strobe light. I am now buying a replacement control board to fix this (part WB27X29801) for about $100. Shame on GE for not having better quality control on these. Also, the glass rotating plate inside is fairly delicate. A coffee mug hit the plate when being placed inside and a chunk of the lip cracked off leaving a jagged edge (another $100 replacement for the official GE plate). On top of this, Best Buy uses a terrible outside company for installations called Premier Logistics. I have never seen bigger idiots. It’s like the Three Stooges were sent to install this. They were shocked it wouldn’t fit on the existing bracket and were very hesitant to install a new one (like they weren’t totally sure how). When they finally did start installing it 2 guys did most of the work while the 3rd stood around supervising. The supervisor then decided to randomly touch the microwave which he then immediately sliced his hand on and proceeded to bleed all over my kitchen floor while trying to nonchalantly hide his hand from me. I had another terrible experience with Premier Logistics about a year later when a different team came to deliver and install a dishwasher at which point they flooded the kitchen and tried to scam my elderly parents out of $200. Before you buy anything from Best Buy, check to see if Premier Logistics will be involved in any way (delivery, installation, etc.) and if so look somewhere else. I would not buy this microwave again and I’m very hesitant to buy any appliance from Best Buy because of the aforementioned issues with the install team.

Works great. Its quiet. Has 2 brightness settings for the lights. Looks great.
