I bought this to replace a 15 year old GE microwave. I read a lot of reviews for this microwave so I was reasonably sure that I was making a good purchase. It heats the food so much faster my old one. I'm very happy so far and would definitely recommend this

We have had this microwave installed for 4 months and it no longer works. It was purchased at Christmas time, but not installed until Mid-March. My 14 year old son was closing the door and a hook hit with his wrist and it snapped off. Now the microwave says door open and will not work. In the pic I’m pointing at the hook that broke off.

Won't last, and replacement is a headache

Our first one kept tripping the breaker when we closed the door. Apparently, this is a common problem with this model. The GE repairman said it would cost $500(!) to fix. The obvious solution was to buy a new one, but sometime between 2018 (the manufacture year of our original one) and now, they've inexplicably decided to move the top bolts a half an inch, making for a headache when trying to swap it out (It was less than 10" from the back of the microwave on our first one, now it's greater than 10" on the 2022 manufactured one. Verified same model and double-checked by the BB sales associate.) If you're looking at this for a fresh install, look elsewhere. Who knows what they'll change between now and when you inevitably have to replace it in a few years? If you're buying this as a replacement, be aware your install may require drilling new holes in your cabinet.

Very satisfied with my new microwave. It looks great and works fine. My only critcism is the so called Users Manual which isn't worth much. I've requested the full manual.
