    We bought our first GE micro wave from Best Buy 16 yrs ago so we decided to stay with the same brand and buy it from Best Buy again, hopefully this one lasts a long time to!!!!!!!

    My 2.0 GE Profile Microwave of 12 years died earlier this fall and my children bought this for me as a replacement unit for Christmas. It is a very nice microwave--just missing a few of the bells and whistles of the Profile model.

    Delivery was planned for 8-12. Called 8 times for status and never received a canal back. Finally deliver 7:00 pm. No explanation and installers only wanted to get in and go home. Most horrible experience I've ever had.

    The microwave is a big upgrade from my old microwave. The specs said it was fingerprint resistant but that's not the case. Other than that, it's a great microwave.

    I bought the floor model because it was $100 less. It had a small dent on the side, but who cares? Once installed, you can't tell. Microwave works good. Display is a little hard to see due to glare.

    This microwave works exactly as expected. Best Buy, however, would not take the old one for recycling since we opted to install the new one ourselves. This was very disappointing, particularly since when we called to inquire, we were told they would.

    This microwave fits well in my kitchen. I was a little surprised that the fan automatically comes on when using the microwave. But it works well.

  • Easily broken handles on this microwave

    I have purchased several of these microwaves for use in rental units. At least four times the handles have broken after the warranty expires, and it is cheaper to buy a new microwave oven on sale than the repair costs plus labor for fixing the broken handles. I think this is a product defect the manufactuer should address.
