Can't See Control Panel Buttons

Ours was installed yesterday and last night we noticed that the control panel does not light up. The picture you see on the internet is deceiving. It looks like you can see the white buttons but the buttons are not as visible as they are in the photo. We are now stuck with a microwave that was hardwired into our cabinets that we have to use a flashlight to be able to see the buttons. Also, the motor sounds slow. It heats and cooks fine, but when you push start, there's a 1-2 second delay for the motor to turn on.

That was new in 2009!!! The door does not always secure when closed. You can not read the menu board thru the thick cover over it. The clock numerals are so close you can not make them out. The fan vent is very noisy!!!!! The thick plastic over the oven door is like the menu board and you can not even make out if the carousel is going around. Never so disappointed in an appliance as this! Guess we are stuck with it but the overall rating at poor is too high!!!!
