Bought this newer model on August 13, 2023. I’m currently awake at 05:25am trying to heat up tea and it’s not working. The power is on but the turn table isn’t turning nor is my food heating up. It lasted 22 days. I’m troubleshooting if the door is fully closed, trying an extension cord with a different outlet, but nothing is working.

This one, however, is nowhere near as nice, despite being newer. It always leaves a scorched spot in the center of anything you heat.

Service tech ordered part stating fuse went out, had part sent to my home. Severe weather hit 11/4/22 the day my microwave was suppose to be repaired. I was given an ETA 9-1 PM received a call late evening starting I need to call to setup another appointment. Called Saturday offife is closed. Please do not buy this product.

I had to drill new holes in the cabinet to make it fit. Hope this one outlasts the cabinets. It is a little noisier than I would like but not intolerable. The button take a little more pressure than I am accustomed to, but otherwise a fine unit.

The only flaw is the lack of a lighted touch screen for use when the light is low . Double lights on the under side are a bonus when range top cooking . A very nice replacement .

I did pay for adequate, though, and I didn't get that. Microwave was incredibly loud, while operating. The lights burnt out, quickly. The buttons were somewhat unresponsive. Less than 3 years later, the microwave started tripping the breaker. It died, this morning. I guess paying for a rental is ok, if that's what you're expecting. I'll pass on any GE appliance, from now on, though.

It has more preset quick cooking buttons (6 vs 3), the reminder tone is bearable, and the door opens and closes easily. Now to see if it lasts....

Beware, bad design, fuse blows and ultimately dies

Replaced fuse mutiple times then it completely died. It was out of the return period so I bought another figuring I just got unlucky with the first one. Well, I got lucky again ;( Same thing happend and just outside of the return period. There are other reviews here describing the same issue. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Obvious flaw in this model since the Youtube negative reviews number in the hundreds possibly thousands!. If you open the door while it is running, it trips the house circuit breaker. One day it just stopped working even after a breaker reset. I followed advice and replaced the 20 amp fuse in the microwave but that did not solve the problem. GE offers no help with this obvious lemon of an oven. This is a definite design flaw & the fact that GE did not issue a recall is disturbing!

A few months after we bought it one of the heating elements, or whatever you call it, went out and food that we would put in the microwave was unevenly heated. You can imagine how annoying it is to bite into a piece of pizza that is nice and hot on one side and still refrigerator cold on the other. We purchased this microwave on February 18, 2019.
