From decades in IT and around electronics this sounds like bad caps or power supply in a unit that is only a month old. Not happy and I wish I'd bought another brand. We'll see if I can get a replacement or repair.

It was working fine then suddenly after 14 months . Then vent turned on by itself touch pad not working and it microwave is very hot without any use.

Worse customer service experience as these department don't talk to each other

I knew taking it out of the box it was flimsy and cheap. It died in 90 days. GE support makes repairs beyond difficult to the point you just throw it out and buy something else that's NOT GE.

This model's clock display is not designed to have a space between the numbers and colon, so the numbers are indeed closer together than with some other models. Regarding the color, the pictures on our GE website show the model with both a white light display and green light display; we regret that you didn't receive the color you were wanting, and are dissatisfied with the microwave's display. Only lasted two years

It would be $200 to repair when the microwave only cost me $200 to purchase. I will be buying a new microwave and it will not be GE.
