But the mounting bolts are all in different locations than the old microwave oven. So I couldn't just remove the old and install the new on the same old bracket and bolt holes. It took an additional 4 hours to drill proper holes and mount the thing. The mounting template was a pain to work with - too flimsey. If I could do it over I'd just order a replacement magnetron. As a initial install I would recommend this microwave oven.

I bought the same brand, GE. The microwave works fine, but the quality of materials used to manufacture the new oven seem cheap. The older GE oven felt sturdy when you closed it. This oven seems very light and has a plastic feel to it.

Put this model in a rental unit 5 years ago and it's now blowing the internal fuse every couple of months so I replaced it with the same model for mounting/installation convenience (get to use the existing h/w and holes.).

The sales person wasn’t much hep and the he gives me the wrong microwave even after I questioned him and cashier about the difference in price. The microwave works well but the sales people need a little retraining.

It’s nothing fancy, but has the basic features and performs fine.
