Performs as well as many priced much higher. Takes a little while to convert to non-outside venting, but once installed looks and works great.

Our last GE Microwave's handle broke out of the door and the glass shattered so we purchased this one. It closes and opens much easier but the carousel is smaller. Only owned it for a few months now so no telling how long it will last. Hopefully for a decade or more.

choose the correct selection.
Press once for a pizza.

Press four times for soup.
Press five times for meat.
Press six times for pasta.

Replacement Microwave/Exhaust Hood

New unit was a little flimsy compared to old unit - door seems a little flimsy and closing the door seems a little less firm, if that makes sense. Otherwise all the other features seem about the same. The new unit must be lower wattage, but otherwise works fine. Note - the mounting bracket is the same, so hanging GE on an old GE bracket works, but the mounting screw locations on the top through the upper cabinet are not in the same area, so you have to use the paper template to make new screw holes.

It was super easy to install with the help of a friend. Works very well. It has a light that has low & high for brightness, i absolutely love that. The fan also has low & high. Its just an overall perfect change for my tiny kitchen and I am extremely pleased with it
