Based on the information you provided, the diagnosis and repair for your appliance needs to be done by a qualified appliance service technician. You can schedule an appointment at 1-800-432-2737, Mon-Fri 7 am – 10 pm ET, Sat-Sun 8 am – 6 pm ET or schedule online anytime at: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm . GE Appliances technicians are certified specialists trained by the factory and supported by our technical assistance team. They use proprietary computer technology to more accurately diagnose the problem and make sure the appliance is fixed properly. No other servicer has this technology. - TREY@GEA

Hello. We appreciate you reporting this to us – we sincerely hate to hear your microwave isn’t heating. We know how frustrating that would be, especially when you’ve only had the unit such a short time. This isn’t the experience we want for you, and we’d like to assist. You may want to make sure the door is able to close securely and nothing is blocking it at all, so the safety mechanisms can engage. Unplugging the microwave for a couple minutes before reconnecting to power may help, as this resets the electrical components. If the Timer function is in use, clearing that can help. We hope those tips are useful, and additional troubleshooting information is available on page 18 of the manual (which can be viewed on our GE website when you look up the model number and go to the product page). Warranty information is also available on page 20 of the manual. If you are not able to resolve this issue, our Service Department is available at 1-800-432-2737. We don’t recommend trying to repair the microwave yourself, because of the internal high voltage capacity and for safety reasons. A technician would be able to diagnose and repair the issue.
