And it is our second GE microwave. The other one lasted about 10 years, so if this one goes that long I won't complain. Great price for what it does. The life altering experience is when you suddenly don't have a microwave. Can't seem to live without it.

Good replacement

This one fit perfectly in the same location, but had smaller hanger bolts - scary since it weighs the same. Only wish it had backlight buttons, hard to see unless I turn on all kitchen overhead lights.

Also GE used a halogen bulb as the surface light. Why not LED? Great microwave if you are on a budget and don't mind the noise.
