Door seems flimsy compared to the two previous GE over range microwaves we have owned. You have to press the buttons hard. Not exactly what I would call a touch pad.

I like the stainless steel but it does get fingerprints. The only thing that I find to be a minor issue is that with my old GE microwave, when you set the timer, you would hit start and that was it. With this one, you have to hit timer instead and I can't seem to get used to that!

I had a contractor install it and it made the noise the second day , removed it and checked everything and it still makes the noise. I need to contact GE to see my options.

Great replacement with almost no mods. CR Best Buy

Works fine and as I said, it was listed as a best buy by Consumer Reports, ahead of all the major brands (LG, Samsung, etc.). It's a bit heavy so best installed with two people. I made braces with some boxes and wrestled it in myself. Burned a few calories in the process.
