I’m on my 3rd one in 10 years. Over time, twice now, a lever/switch inside the locking mechanism on the door begins to move and shorts out the microwave. It’s a known problem through GE.

We really missed our old one when it finally went kaput after 17 years. Yes, like many we had to wait on delivery to the store for pick up. We believe it was worth the wait! The controls are easy to use and makes kitchen duties much more pleasant.
